Grades 3–4 math — multiplication, fractions, area, and the leap to multi-digit reasoning

Third and fourth grade is the most important period in elementary math. This is when children learn to think multiplicatively rather than additively, when fractions enter the curriculum as full first-class numbers (not just "pieces of a pizza"), when place value extends to the thousands and beyond, and when multi-step word problems start asking for genuine reasoning, not just plug-in arithmetic. The games in this collection target every one of those transitions: multiplication and division within 100 with full fluency, fractions as fair shares and as points on a number line, equivalence and comparison of fractions, area and perimeter as multiplicative ideas, and word problems that bridge concrete and abstract.

Children who struggle with grades 3–4 math often have not built strong place-value or fact-family foundations from grades 1–2 — and that is a fixable problem, not a fixed trait.
