Is MathVenture safe for my child?

Yes. MathVenture is built to COPPA and GDPR-K requirements. We collect the minimum data necessary — an anonymous child profile under the parent account, plus which levels have been played. There are no chat features, no social features, no online leaderboards, and no user-generated content. (Each device keeps a local high-score list on the game-over screen; it never leaves the device.) Children cannot be contacted by strangers on MathVenture because the product has no surface for that.

We do not serve personalized ads to children. Ads, when shown to non-subscribers, are limited to non-personalized, family-appropriate Google AdSense inventory and never appear on the game canvas itself. Premium subscribers see no ads anywhere in the product.

Is screen time for math practice actually good for my child?

The research, briefly: interactive educational screen time is very different from passive screen time. Interactive sessions of 15 to 30 minutes per day, especially ones that end with a break rather than an infinite scroll, are associated with neutral-to-positive outcomes on attention and learning.

MathVenture is designed for short, closable sessions. Each level ends in a natural break point (about 2–6 minutes). We don't use dark patterns — no pushy "one more round" prompts, no streaks that punish skipping a day, no infinite scrolling, and no full-screen ads between rounds. If your child wants to stop, the product makes stopping easy.

How does MathVenture fit with school?

MathVenture is a complement to school, not a replacement, and it is not a substitute for classroom instruction or for individualised educational advice. Short, regular sessions on skills a teacher has recently introduced work best. Every game is tagged to curriculum standards so you can match practice to classroom focus.

If your child is ahead of their grade, it's fine to play games from the next grade up — the adaptive engine will keep them appropriately challenged. If your child is behind, play games from one grade below without embarrassment; the engine will surface the right level within it.

Pricing and what's included

MathVenture has a free tier and a premium tier. The free tier includes 23 games, ad-supported (no personalized ads to kids). The premium tier unlocks all 47 games — including the 3D Extra Credit collection — and removes ads everywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Can multiple children share an account?

Yes. You can create up to four child profiles under a single parent account, each with its own progress tracking. Premium adds the Extra Credit games and removes ads for all of them.

Does MathVenture work offline?

Each game, once loaded, plays fully offline for the rest of the session. Returning after an offline gap will sync progress the next time the device is online.

What languages are supported?

MathVenture is available in English and Hebrew today, with right-to-left support. We are evaluating Spanish, French, and Arabic.

Can I see what my child has been doing?

Partly. Each game ends with a results screen showing score, accuracy and stars, and the game cards on the home screen show a mastery badge and star rating per game. A dedicated parent dashboard is not built yet — when it ships it will sit behind an adult gate.
